The following is a made up story.
June 23rd, 2022.
Horizon dev meeting, the topic is BCNM discussion arises with furious debate. Sparks fly over the beastmaster class, "WHM,BLM,SMN have Seers gear! Critical shouts over discord. "We need a set for smn and bst that equals the CoP level 29-30 sets other jobs got!" Ophelia blurts.
Thus after much brainstorming, the Shephard set was crafted into existence. "Where should we stuff this? Asked Frank in a curious tone. The discord goes silent, not much thought was put into the idea, perhaps it could be crafted like the others. Kipling interjects quickly, "How about a random BCNM40? They'll never find out if we put it into Fei'Yin, I mean who is going to go there at level 40?"
"Good idea,Kipling, this goes with our play and find out philosophy, nobody is going to do anything but U.O and many more will do U.O after someone discovers the peacock amulet." Aerec says.
December 26th, 2022.
Player: "Lets do a BCNM 40, want to see if PCA can drop from U.O?"
Kipling: "Lets do the Fei-Yin one."
Player: wtf?
Kipling: "I promise its a good one."

That would be a pretty good start.Hidden Information to be Discovered - A big part of HorizonXI is recreating the sense of discovery that existed in retail FFXI. To further this, certain game components will be changed or added for Adventurers to discover (the “Hidden Information”). Hidden Information includes any and all game changes that were intentionally added by HorizonXI Staff. As Staff, you are not allowed to alert, funnel towards, hint at, or guide other players to the existence of any Hidden Information. You must follow the lead of others in the community with regards to the discovery of any Hidden Information.
